On May 2023, Tbay visited 3 schools, they are: Sapphire Secondary School, located in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. Sebokeng Technical High School, and Setjaba Sohle Secondary School, both of which located in Sebokeng, South Africa. And this is the 29th-31th school we donated.
We took them with 177 brand-new shoes which were carefully selected to suit their needs. We believed that these shoes would not only enhance their comfort but also boost their confidence and encourage them to actively participate in various activities.
Those schools were selected because the students in those schools indeed needed assistance, most of them were coming form poor families, from this point, our original intention always remains unchanged: we constantly strive to assist students who truly need help.
Next, I will give you a brief introduction of those schools. They left us a memorable impression.
Setjaba Sohle Secondary School
On 9th, May, we went to this public school with most kids from disadvantaged families, it is situated in Emfuleni District, zone 14 Sebokeng township. The school offers affordable fees for parents, it has 29 teachers and 867 learners and there is a well discipline among pupils.
Sebokeng Technical High School
On 18th, May, we visited this special school, which offers free education to all its learners, most students are taught technical subjects like welding, baking, sewing and knitting, these kids come from poor families that’s why the education is free and the school also offers breakfast and lunch for these kids, since they can’t afford any meal.
Sapphire Secondary School
On 22nd, May, we visited this township school in the place called Bophelong located province called Gauteng, the children in the school don’t pay school fees because of their poor background, and the government gives the school money to buy stationery and textbooks for students. The school has a pass rate of 71% which is very low, the school is situated among the community so that it's easy to access the school without spending money for transport.
As we entered each school, we were greeted by eager faces, filled with curiosity and anticipation. The students, accompanied by their teachers, had prepared a warm reception for us.

During our visit, we were honored to witness a heartfelt appreciation by the history teacher of Setjaba Sohle Secondary School. With passion and gratitude, the teacher shared the significance of our donation and compassion, and the power to make a difference.
Our visit not only provided the students with new shoes but also left an indelible mark on our own hearts. It reminded us of the power of kindness and the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need. It reinforced the idea that by coming together as a community, we can create positive change and bring joy to the lives of others.
Tbay have been actively on our charity journey, and in the future, we will continuously expand the scope of our donations, benefiting more students and helping them grow and live better lives.
