On November 3rd, 2023, Tbay visited 2 schools-Ecole primaire d'application de Sabongari groupe IA-IB-IIA-IIE and Ecole Primaire d’application les Champions FCB, located in Cameroon, which were the 57th and 58th school we donated for our “Donating 1,000 Schools” in Africa, and Cameroon is the new destination of our program.
Our director of group I, YAINAM PIERRE, mentioned that some children have to sit on the floor or on three-seater benches, which does not allow them to focus on their studies. It is very easy to find classes with 100 students, especially at SIL and CP; And the teacher can’t move freely between the rows to supervise the children.
Despise such a precarious environment, the children are still very motivated to come to class, we selected those schools to motivate some top students and encourage other students not to be limited by the lack of infrastructures, but to keep focusing on their education as it is the key for a brighter future.
This time we brought them with school bags, notebooks, blue and red pens, clocks, slates, chalks and pencils. And Ecole primaire d'application de Sabongari groupe IA-IB-IIA-IIE school had a solemn ceremony for our donation. Amidst the playground, gathered with students, faculty, and Tbay team staff, here, within the hallowed halls of learning, students gather not only to enrich their minds but also to exemplify the spirit of altruism and compassion that binds their community together. As Tbay and Cameroon flags juxtaposed, which embody the united charity event spirit, the stage is set for an unforgettable demonstration of the power of giving and the profound impact on both individuals and the local community.
The headmistress, along with a teacher and a student, were interviewed. They all expressed gratitude for the contributions made by the Tbay team. They hoped that Tbay could extend its support to more students in need in the future.
