Tbay Charity Event in Ghana-May, 2023
On 24th, May, Tbay paid a visit to Abutia Ameslanyakofe D/A Basic School, located in Abutia. This is the 32nd school we donated.
We had an opening prayer by madam Roberta Yaokrah and a speech from Tbay staff Velarie Selasie Azaglo, then we began to donate items including exercise books, pencils, pens, crayon, erasers, sharpeners, water bottles, veronica bucket, football, wall clock for the students and sanitary pads to the female students.
Then we held a thrilling football game on the school playground, two teams of passionate young kids clashed with determination and skill. The field was alive with energy as the players showcased their abilities, aiming for victory and friendship.
The match kicked off amidst cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd. The teams, comprised of students from the same school, displayed their well-rehearsed strategies and teamwork throughout the game. The defenders stood strong, forming a formidable wall to protect their goal, while the midfielders worked tirelessly to control the game's tempo and provide accurate passes.
After the game, we have some interviews for students and teachers. One student said: “We are very happy that Tbay is here to help us. God bless them so much. We want Tbay to help our friends that are coming from far places with bicycles for them to come to school early.”
The headmaster MR. Victor Belly expressed his thoughts: “I am very excited to welcome Tbay into my beloved school Abutia Amesianyakofe D/A primary in Ho West district. Over the years, I have been thinking where to get help for my needy students, but God being so good Tbay are here to help my students. Some of my students are from far villages before coming to school and due to walking distance they come in lat. So I want Tbay to help them by giving them bicycles. I once again welcome Tbay." Those words are so impressed and Tbay will do our best to help students in need.
