On 9th, June, Tbay has visited Dinadona Preparatory School which was founded in 1993 by Mr. and Mrs. Mugarura, now the school has become a beacon of hope and transformation in the education landscape of Uganda.
With a mission to provide quality education and uplift underprivileged communities, Dinadona Prep has established two campuses—one for boarding students in Wakiso district along Hoima road, and another for day students in Kasubi, Kampala district.
For the donation activity, we selected the day students because the pupils come from surrounding slums that consist of people with low levels of income and our staff carefully selected two classes—elementary four and five, benefit about 30 students. We brought them with exercise books, long exercise, books, rulers sets, pens, pencils, crayons. They’re so happy to get those stationery. By focusing on these particular grade levels, we hope to enhance children's learning experience and overall well-being.
Tbay deeply understood that for those young learners, these donations might be a chance they acquire the necessary tools for a fulfilling education.
The director of the school was grateful and thanked Tbay for choosing their school and looks forward to more collaborations that may come up in the future.
Tbay has been actively engaged in our charity activities, and moving forward, we will consistently broaden the range of our contributions. This will allow us to support a larger number of students, enabling them to flourish and lead improved lives.
