On 1st, June, Tbay went to African Galleria Primary School located in Manyara community, Tanzania. In Tanzania, primary-school-aged children from the poorest families are three times less likely to attend school than those from the wealthiest households. This is why they have built African Galleria School. It was founded in 2018 with the aim of helping kids in the Manyara community have access to quality and free primary education.
Impressed by the school, Tbay has a recognition of the school’s intention for significant disparity in education opportunities between children from the poorest families and those from the wealthiest households. That's why Tbay selected this school.
We brought students with essential supplies like leather shoes, socks, exercise books, pens, pencils, water bottles, and learning books, we seek to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these young learners.
The sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze swept through the air. Tbay staff and school teachers gathered on the playground. They distributed items to the children in an orderly manner. If some students struggled with tying their shoelaces, they were helped to put on their shoes. The scene was filled with a peaceful atmosphere, and the children were extremely happy to have their new shoes. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to Tbay for their kindness.
The school firmly believes that education is a transformative force, capable of changing lives and empowering individuals to make a positive impact on their community and the world. An uneducated child is like a building without a foundation, and African Galleria School seeks to lay the groundwork for a brighter future by ensuring every child receives the essential building blocks of education.
