On October 12nd and 13rd, Tbay visited 2 schools, Hadja Aissata Bangoura School and Bissana School in Guinea. Which are the 54th and 55th school we donated for our “Donating 1,000 Schools” program in Africa.
We chose these two schools because they serve underprivileged children whose parents are unable to afford the necessary school supplies.
This was a heartwarming collaboration between a local school and Tbay Charity Team in Guinea. The charity event aims to bring joy and provide support to the community.
The donation drive kicked off at 3:30 pm with an inspiring speech by Mr. Fofana Nfamoli, who represents Tbay Charity Team in Guinea. His words set the tone for an afternoon full of generosity and community spirit. Following Mr. Nfamoli's speech, the school principal took the stage to express gratitude and highlight the significance of such initiatives. The event ended at about 5:50 pm, leaving a lasting impact on everyone in attendence.
The event was designed to engage students actively, fostering a sense of participation and excitement. Students took part in a series of games and a lively question-and-answer session. Those who answered questions correctly were rewarded with school bags, adding an element of fun and competition to the charitable proceedings. Notably, the entire event was conducted in French, creating an inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.
To gauge the impact of the charity event, several teachers and students were interviewed after the activities ended. The students joyfully expressed their gratitude for the bags they received and expressed a hope for similar events in the future. Their enthusiasm reflects the success of the initiative in bringing happiness to the beneficiaries.
Three interviewed teachers shared their thoughts, conveying gratitude to the donors and emphasizing the significance of these gifts to the recipients. The teacher expressed hope for additional donations, which would extend the reach of such charitable endeavors, benefiting even more individuals within the community.
