In November 2025, our team had the privilege of visiting Ayim M/A Basic School in Ghana, where we donated essential learning materials to deserving students. This initiative is made possible through your support as ₦20 from every trade on Tbay goes directly to this program, helping us reach more schools and more children every month.
📍 About the School: Ayim M/A Basic School, Ghana
Ayim M/A Basic School was established in 1952 and has played a vital role in educating children in the local community for over seven decades. Initially, the school only offered primary education, and students had to travel to nearby towns for middle school.
In 1985, through community fundraising efforts, the school successfully built its own middle school block. Later in 2015, a high school block was added.
Today, the school has14 teachers, including the headteacher and a strong sports culture, having won the inter-school boys’ football competition last year.
Why Was This School Chosen?
Ayim M/A Basic School was selected because it is home to bright and determined students who lack access to proper educational materials. With limited resources, these children remain passionate about learning, making them truly deserving of support.
Donation Beneficiaries
A total of 55 pupils, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 6, received learning materials during the donation exercise. These students represent the future of their community, and this support plays a key role in strengthening their educational journey.
🎁 Donation Activity – What Happened on the Day
The donation event took place on 19th November 2025, beginning with a formal meeting between the school administration and the Tbay team.

A teacher opened the event with warm words:
“We are honored to welcome the Tbay team today. Their mission is to donate to 1,000 schools in Africa. They have come to support our students with educational items to enhance teaching and learning. God bless you for coming.”

Students’ Aspirations
Our team chatted with the students at the school. Many students shared their dreams of becoming footballers and doctors.
They expressed heartfelt gratitude for the footballs and books donated to the school, stating how happy and motivated the support made them feel.
