Tbay Charity Event in Ghana-July, 2023
On July 20th, Tbay visited Ahwerase Presby Primary School, located in the heart of the Eastern Region, Aburi, Ghana. It’s the 43rd school we donated for our “Donating 1,000 Schools” program in Africa.
Ahwerase Presby Primary School is nestled in a serene environment, surrounded by lush greenery that sets the stage for young minds to flourish. In the vicinity, it stands as the sole government school for grades 1 to 6, serving a population of 315 students. Based on the number of students that align with our plan, we selected 99 students from grade 1-3.
The school’s headmistress Mrs. Cynthia Antwi-Agyei firstly expressed her gratitude for Tbay team to help the students. Then Tbay staff introduced the Tbay platform and product.
This time we brought students with exercise books, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpers, crayons, drinking water bottles, footballs, veronica buckets, wall clocks, sanitary pads.
Moreover, we also sent them customized Tbay notebooks. Most students loved it.
After the donation, Tbay staff organized a football game with students. The sun casts a warm glow over the playground. Laughter and excitement fill the air, creating a harmonious blend of enthusiasm. Their youthful exuberance is evident in every sprint, pass, and goal attempt.
As the match progresses, friendships are strengthened, and bonds are forged. The game serves as a reminder that beyond the classroom and the office, and there is a common ground where individuals can connect, unwind, and revel in the joy of physical activity.
At last, there were some interviews with one student called Reginald Addo. He expressed his excitement and appreciation to Tbay for donating items to the school, saying the items had come at the appropriate time.
Another student, lorence Asabea, was highly elated for the fact that we had them in mind and we planned such a generous activities for them. She expressed appreciation for the items on behalf of the students, especially the sanitary pad given to the girls.
Tbay will keep our “Donating 1,000 Schools” program going in Africa, and let's look forward to our next station story.
