Let’s explain how the system works and how to keep your membership level moving upward.
What Are Tbay Membership Levels?
There are five membership levels on Tbay:
Bronze VIP
Silver VIP
Gold VIP
Platinum VIP
Diamond VIP
Each level comes with more perks than the last. For example: Bronze VIP gets a 0.2% rate-up while Diamond VIP enjoys a 1% rate-up, along with priority support and faster payments.
How to Check Your Membership Level?
It’s easy to check your current status:
- Go to the app homepage
- Tap the profile icon in the top left corner
- Navigate to the Membership Center
- There, you’ll see your current level and a progress (experience points) bar showing how close you are to the next one.
How to Move Up in Membership Levels?
You earn experience points through your activity on Tbay. The more active you are, the faster you progress. You can gain more points by logging in regularly and trading gift cards. As you collect points, you move up the levels. For example, when you collect 2000 points, you move from Bronze VIP to Silver VIP. When you reach 8000 points, you become a Diamond VIP.

Why Did My Membership Level Go Down?
A common question from users is: “Why did my membership level go down?” The key thing to understand is that your current membership status is based on your experience points from the last three months only, not your all-time points.
Tbay checks this on the 1st of every month. If your total experience points from the last three months don’t meet the requirement for your current tier, your status will change to match the points you've earned.
✅ Promotions:
As soon as you collect enough points for the next level, your status instantly upgrades.
📉 Downgrades:
Downgrades happen on the 1st day of every month. Your points from the three most recent months are reviewed and your level is adjusted if needed.
Example: Let’s say you reached Gold VIP in May by earning 4,000 points. In June, you will retain your Gold membership status. But, on July 1st your experience points for June, May and April will be evaluated and your membership status will be determined based on those points.
Keep an Eye on Your Progress
In order to stay on top, you should check your progress bar regularly in the Membership Center. You should also:
- Log in daily
- Trade gift cards often
- Stay consistent to maintain your level and enjoy premium perks
